PHILADELPHIA — Women in ETFs Philadelphia invited Stradley Ronon partner Miranda Sturgis to join a panel presentation discussing ETF (exchange-traded fund) share classes of mutual funds on November 14.
The panel of industry professionals shared their thoughts on the complex and challenging road to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approval and issuer implementation, as well as the potential benefits to investors, from economies of scale and in-kind tax efficiencies.
Miranda counsels clients on matters such as the formation, registration and ongoing regulation of investment companies, including index-based and actively managed ETFs and mutual funds across a wide range of asset classes. She also assists in the representation of clients in transactional matters, such as fund mergers and acquisitions.
