WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jan Folena, partner and co-chair of the securities enforcement practice at Stradley Ronon, joined a panel presentation at the Investment Company Institute (ICI)’s 2024 Securities Law Developments Conference on October 8.
The presentation, titled “The Impact of Recent Judicial Decisions on the Regulatory Process,” discussed how recent decisions may impact the prospects for rulemaking by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and other agencies and what these changes may mean for funds, managers and investors.
Jan advises and represents clients on various matters involving federal securities laws, commodities laws and associated rules and regulations. She previously served as supervisory assistant chief litigation counsel in the SEC’s Enforcement Division and, before that, as assistant chief litigation counsel for the SEC’s Asset Management Unit.
