Jamie Gershkow presented “Money Fund Regulations: 2a-7 Basics & History” at Crane Data’s Annual Money Fund University on Jan. 24 in Providence, Rhode Island. Money Fund University is a comprehensive “basic training” on money market mutual funds. Gershkow’s presentation provided insight on current money market fund regulation and the SEC’s Rule 2a-7 as well as recent developments affecting money market funds.
Gershkow focuses her practice on advising investment companies, independent trustees and investment advisers. She frequently counsels on regulatory and compliance matters, the applicability and interpretation of securities laws, and the formation and management of
registered investment companies, including
exchange-traded funds (ETFs),
