PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Caroline Gorman and associate Katherine Durr participated in the Banking & Financial Services CLE Webinar hosted August 21 by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC)’s Greater Philadelphia chapter.
Their presentation, “Secure Your Deals the Right Way,” provided an overview of essential elements in negotiating financing documents, including analyzing key provisions, identifying potential pitfalls and ensuring that deals are secure and reflect clients’ best interests. Caroline and Katherine presented the session alongside James Kutter, associate general counsel for personal loan lender Best Egg.
Caroline is co-chair of the firm’s business department and the finance and real estate practice. She focuses her practice on public finance and on all aspects of secured and unsecured financing, including construction and real estate loans, acquisition financing and asset-based financing.
Katherine focuses her practice on structuring secured and unsecured financing, including syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and asset-based and real estate loans for commercial banks, investment funds, and public and private companies.
